This is another piece inspired by the beautiful story of "Gilgamesh". Drilled suspension loops on one-piece cast crotal bells of circa 16th to mid-17th century date. The two-part moulds for bells of this type are split at the girth rib on the bell, and consequently there are no vertical mould-joint lines evident on them.
